This is the list of dog points identified in every competition held by ABI shows:

  • Winners Dog & Winners Bitch – 15 points
  • Best Of Opposite Sex – 25 points
  • Best Of Winners – 30 points
  • Best Of Breed – 50 points
  • Best Junior Puppy in Breed – 20 points  (must defeat other dogs in Junior Breed)
  • Group 1 – 125 points (must defeat other dogs in Group)
  • Group 2 – 100 points
  • Group 3 – 75 points
  • Group 4 – 50 points
  • Best Junior Puppy In Group – 30 (must defeat other dogs in Junior Group)
  • Best Junior Puppy In Show – 40 (must defeat other dogs in Junior Show)
  • Reserve Best Junior Puppy In Show – 35 (must defeat other dogs in Junior Show)
  • Reserve Best In Show – 250 + dogs defeated (deduct total dogs from the Group that won Best In Show)
  • Best In Show – 500 + dogs defeated

And the Year end Awards normally is given with the following identifications:

  1. Top Dog of The Year
  2. Top Non-Professional Handler Dog of The Year – Handler can not have received payment for any handling all year.
  3. Top Bred By Dog of The Year – Must be bred, owned & handled by the breeder.
  4. Top 2-10 Dogs of The Year
  5. Top Junior Puppy of The Year – (most Best Junior Puppy In Show wins)
  6. Top Puppy of The Year – (most Best Puppy In Show wins)
  7. Top Junior Handler 12 – 16 Years
  8. Top Junior Handler 9 – 11 Years
  9. Top Junior Handler 5 – 8 Years
  10. Top Junior Handler 5 & Under Years – Junior Handler will use a stuffed dog & leash provided by ABIDS for this class
